Your Rights

You have the right to:

✅ Receive care free from abuse, neglect, exploitation, discrimination, or retaliation
✅ Be informed about services, caregivers, visit frequency, rates, and any changes before they take effect
✅ Participate in decisions about your care, including the right to consent to or refuse services
✅ Receive services according to your Plan of Care
✅ Have your privacy and health information protected under HIPAA and Florida law
✅ Be informed of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance coverage, private-pay rates, non-covered charges, and out-of-pocket costs
✅ Voice concerns, file complaints, or recommend changes without fear of retaliation
✅ Receive language assistance and accessibility support when needed
✅ Know whether caregivers are employees or independent contractors, when applicable
✅ Receive a copy of your Patient Bill of Rights and Responsibilities
